Weather

Weather at these elevations is unpredictable.  There is the possibility of warm sunshine or snow any day of the year.  Snow is often seen in June, July and August.  In the summer months, the days may get very warm (average July high is 77F), but temperatures may dip below 50F after the sun sets. Get current weather & forecast.

Late spring to early fall is the most popular time to visit Glacier, nonetheless lots of people enjoy winter trips.  September is also a popular month because weather is usually comfortable and fall colors are abundant - and the summer crowds are gone.
